Majestic carved wood spread wing eagle, Purportedly adorned the side-wheeler "Rosendale" out of Bridgeport, CT built in 1877. carved by an accomplished hand good detail, bold feathers. Exceptional surface, appears to be first or extremely early. Restoration to the talons and 3 tips of the tail feathers.

Condition- Minor edge tears and creases, roughness to edges.
